My Process

Therapy is a journey home to yourself. We begin with what matters to you and build the support needed to explore what you carry. This is a flexible cycle, not a fixed timeline: we may return to intention, strengths, or grounding at any point. EMDR, IFS-informed parts work, self-compassion, and nature can support the journey at your pace.

1

Intention and strengths

What brings you here, and what would you like to feel differently? We clarify your intention and build resources through supportive relationships, meaningful activities, grounding, and memories of your own strengths. Resourcing helps create a foundation for deeper work and remains available throughout therapy.

2

Grief and what you carry

There is space to grieve losses, the life you expected, and what you did not receive. We explore protective patterns and survival strategies with curiosity, honoring how they once helped you cope. Letting go does not mean forgetting; it can mean making room for new choices while treating yourself with compassion.

3

EMDR, parts, and younger selves

When you are ready and it is clinically appropriate, EMDR can help us work with distressing memories and beliefs about yourself or the world. Parts work informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) invites curiosity toward protective and younger parts. Inner-child work can offer space to acknowledge unmet needs and respond with care. We move at your pace.

4

Integration and a renewed sense of self

We bring insights into everyday choices, relationships, and future situations. Self-compassion, nature, creative reflection, or a personally meaningful ritual may help you mark a transition when it fits your values. A renewed sense of self can emerge gradually. Your next intention may lead us back around the cycle, with new resources and understanding.
